One of my SaaS clients came to me in a flap. They were launching a new office in Belfast and it was all happening faster than expected. They were going on a trip to Belfast to meet influential people, and wanted me to add on a press trip. And they wanted to appear on the NI BBC. And they wanted to be fully media trained. Oh – and they were flying out in SIX DAYS.
I negated the need for sunlight and sensible bedtimes for a few days and stepped up to the challenge. I created a press release, built media lists, delivered a thorough (and surprisingly fun) media training session to the team, set up a press conference and several interviews – and got them a slot on NI BBC – on TV, radio and online.
Thank you, yes that was quite a coup.
Thanks to their media training and natural charm, they absolutely smashed it! They achieved plenty of top tier coverage including their BBC broadcast hat trick.
